The "definition of a dual-threat quarterback" will meet the team with the dual-threat running game Saturday. Michigan State quarterback Drew Stanton threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another 102 in last year's 51-17 drubbing of Minnesota's football team.

The seniors on Minnesota's football team sit in the front of the team meeting room. In the back sit the freshmen. Four years ago, as true freshmen, center Greg Eslinger and offensive tackle Mark Setterstrom were two of the rare few who scribbled playbook notes from the back row knowing they were going to start on Saturday.
