Women's cross country team places 29th at NCAA Championships

Weather forecasts on the night before race day predicted three to five inches of snow in Madison, Wisconsin for this year's NCAA Cross Country Championships. The Minnesota women’s cross country team had raced on Wisconsin's course earlier in the season, however not in the snowy conditions that they'd face on Saturday.


Minnesota cross country teams compete at NCAA Midwest Regional Meet

On Friday, the Minnesota cross country program competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet on Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois. The No. 23-ranked women’s team ended up in third place with a score of 185 points, and the men’s team finished in fifth place with 173 team points.


Gophers show off depth in fall season

The No. 23 Gophers closed its regular season Sunday with the 38th annual Rocky’s Run meet. It rained all morning at Les Bolstad Golf Course, and the rain increased in intensity just before race time.
