The Minnesota Daily is hosting a Open House for Students on November 21, 2009 from 11:45-2:00. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes at a newspaper.

The day will start with check-in at 11:45 where you will receive a goodie bag and free lunch! There will be a panel discussion with many of the Officers of the Publishers, as well as sales managers, editorial managers and much more. This is a great time to get your questions answered about anything having to with The Minnesota Daily.

There will also be break-out sessions so you can learn more about what specifically interests you!

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about job opportunities at The Minnesota Daily. There is a high turnover between fall and spring semester because of study abroad, grace semesters and graduation so there will be a lot of hiring for the spring coming up! Don't miss your chance to become a Daily staff member!

The office is right by the new stadium! We are all meeting in conference room 114/116. Please enter the building from the parking lot entrance. The door there will be propped open because the building is locked on Saturdays. Please arrive on time to assure you will get into the building.
