Bob Bruininks

University's 15th president resigned from office in 2011 after nine-year tenure to return to the school’s faculty. As president Bruininks faced major decline in state funding leading to cuts and tuition increases, but made student scholarships his top priority in order to keep higher education affordable to lower and middle-income students.
