Central Corridor light rail

The urban passenger transit line which will run from downtown Minneapolis through the University of Minnesota campus to the heart of St. Paul via Washington and University avenues. Light rail construction began in 2010, and it is expected to begin service in 2014. Construction on campus began in May 2011.
