Downtown

Downtown Minneapolis is home to landmarks like Target Field, the Guthrie Theatre and First Avenue. Eight miles of skyways connect 80 city blocks filled with restaurants, shops and more. Nicollet Mall is the main street through downtown. Reduced traffic makes the five-block shopping area pedestrian friendly. Downtown is a short bus or light rail ride from the University of Minnesota campus.
