UMore Park

The University of Minnesota Outreach, Research and Education (UMore) Park is a 5,000-acre plot of land owned by the University and located 25 miles southeast of Twin Cities. The site is part of a multi-decades long plan to create a self-sustaining community.

The Eolos Wind Research Station at UMore Park in Rosemount, Minn, includes a meteorological tower used to collect data on the wind entering and leaving the turbine, wind velocity and turbulence, weather conditions and the turbine’s efficiency.
