Minneapolis police are investigating a suspicious death after finding a body blocks off the University of Minnesota’s West Bank campus early Wednesday morning, according to a news release.
Police responded to a call just before 2:45 a.m. Wednesday and found a dead man on the 1600 block of South 6th Street, the release said. The historic Riverside Plaza apartment complex is located on that same block.
The man’s death is currently under investigation. Further details are unknown at this point, but the release said the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office will later release the man’s name and cause of death.
