The Gophers offensive line coach and run game coordinator Ed Warinner is reportedly leaving the program for a position at Michigan, multiple outlets reported Saturday.
Warinner's role with Michigan has yet to be named, according to the Detroit Free Press. Warinner had been with the Gophers for one season. He was the offensive coordinator at Ohio State before taking the job under Fleck in January of 2017.
Warinner's move comes less than a week after Gophers former assistant head coach Maurice Linguist left for Texas A&M Monday.
The Gophers averaged 182.4 yards per game on the ground in the 2017 season, third in the Big Ten. The team finished 5-7 in Fleck's first year as head coach.
FootballScoop was the first to report the move.
