Man shot in Cedar-Riverside

Police say an adult male was shot Tuesday afternoon on Cedar Avenue.

One person was shot in Cedar-Riverside Tuesday afternoon, police say. 

Minneapolis police say an adult male was shot at 3:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue. 

The Cedar Cultural Center is in the area, as well as restaurants and small grocery stores. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 

Police have opened an investigation to locate a suspect.
