Two women were shot and wounded at the campus of New River Community College in Christiansburg, Va.
One of the victims was airlifted to the hospital while the other was taken by ambulance. There have been no updates on their conditions.
The suspected shooter was arrested and taken into custody. No information has been released about the suspect at this time.
Around 1:55 p.m., someone called 911 to notify police that someone with a gun was on campus and shots had been fired.
This was the second shooting scare on a U.S. college campus on Friday.
