Stillwater native Adrianna Nora will transfer to the Gophers volleyball team from Baylor, Gophers head coach Hugh McCutcheon announced Thursday.
Nora, a 6-foot-3-inch middle blocker, started 24 of 29 matches with Baylor last season as a sophomore. She ranked fourth on her team in points per set with 2.17 kills and 1.00 blocks.
She helped Stillwater High School make the Minnesota state tournament and win back-to-back conference titles in 2009 and 2010.
"I’m looking forward to be coached by one of the best coaching staffs in the world and to compete at such a high level," Nora said in a release. "I am so thankful for a new start and a great opportunity to get better at my passion."
