Junior defenseman Rachel Ramsey was named the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. Last weekend, Ramsey recorded a goal and an assist against Bedmiji State.
Ramsey has six points this season, which is tops for a Gophers defenseman. She has three goals and three assists on the season. The Gophers will play a home-and-home against Minnesota State – Mankato this weekend starting on Friday at Ridder Arena.
