Gophers' March Madness bid in jeopardy

When January ended, Minnesota found itself favorably positioned to make the NCAA Tournament, holding a 6-4 record in the Big Ten and a 16-5 record overall. However, it was clear that the team's toughest tests would come in February.

Gophers ride strong third round to finish in tie for 11th

After a tricky first round on Monday in which the Gophers shot a combined 29-over par (317), the team found themselves in last place. Ultimately, the Gophers finished tied for 11th place with a cumulative score of 905 (+41), but Redman knows it could have been higher.

Gophers clinch WCHA regular season title

For the first time since the 2014-15 season, and for the 10th time in program history, the Gophers are WCHA regular season champions. No. 2 Minnesota (29-4-1, 19-4-1-0) defeated Bemidji State (13-19-2, 10-12-2-0) 6-3 on Friday and 4-3 on Saturday at Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minnesota.

Underclassmen fuel second-place finish

After a week off, the men's gymnastics team traveled to Nebraska for a tri-meet against No. 8 Nebraska and No. 18 University of Illinois-Chicago. They finished second behind Nebraska, losing 404.650-403.600.

Gophers lose to Terrapins at the buzzer

Minnesota went out to College Park, Maryland to extend its winning streak to seven games. Though the team led for most of the game, the Terrapins knocked in a buzzer-beating layup for the 71-69 victory.

Gophers offense finds power from new faces

The Gophers have found success from unexpected places this season as new faces have emerged to lead Minnesota on offense. Of the eight home runs the team has hit this season, all of them have been from players who had never hit a home run in a Gophers uniform before:  Hope Brandner, Carlie Brandt, Natalie DenHartog, Ali Lindner and Anne Miller.

Henry Meeker wants to pave his own legacy

Sophomore Henry Meeker currently competes on the team. However, years before him, his father Brian Meeker competed on the mats for the Gophers as a Big Ten champion gymnast and five-time All-American from 1979-1982.
