The University of Minnesota could lose more than $27 million in additional refunds due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pending a vote at a Board of Regents meeting Friday.
The University of Minnesota-Duluth campus had to make major changes to its art programs this year due to budget cuts.
The March Board of Regents meeting also gave regents a chance to discuss the Murphy Warehouse property sale.

Striking is now off the table for the union, but some members are still discontent with the final offer. The union has been without a contract since July.
“Student mental health is a critical topic,” Gabel said. “This attribute affects our student's ability to progress to achieve and in the worst case is a question of life or death.”
Along with the Wagenstein Historical Library of Biology and Medicine, the library will attain new amenities and technology to encourage collaboration between medical fields.
