Minnesota (20-8-3, 13-6-3-0 WCHA) defeated St. Cloud (6-18-5, 4-14-4-1 WCHA) 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud. Forward Lindsay Agnew and defenseman Sydney Baldwin each scored two goals. Cara Piazza added a goal as well.

The Gophers entered Friday night’s game having beaten the Mankato State-Mankato 48 straight times. No. 7 Minnesota (18-8-2, 11-6-2 WCHA) continued that streak, defeating the Mavericks (3-21-1, 1-16) 4-2 on Friday night at Ridder Arena

The Gophers (17-8-2, 10-6-2 WCHA) will take on Mankato (3-20-1, 1-15 WCHA) during senior weekend at Ridder Arena on Friday and Saturday. This is the last time the Gophers seniors will play a regular season home series at Ridder Arena.
Minnesota’s No. 35 Stefan Milicevic went up against No. 16 Alexis Galarneau of NC State in the No. 1 singles spot. The two went toe-to-toe, but ultimately Milicevic was defeated in three sets, as the Gophers lost the dual 4-3 on Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center.
